New to strength training? We recommend starting with 2kg for upper body and 4kg for lower body as a general guide.

When do I move up a weight? If it starts to feel light, add reps. When you can complete 3 sets of 10–12 reps with good form and it feels comfortable, it’s time to move up. Our 1kg increments make progression steady and controlled.
